Joe Lombardo. January 4 – March 8, 2015

Joe Lombardo’s new photo exhibit, “Old Town Pittsburg: Point of View” begins on January 4, 2015 and runs until March 8th, 2015.

From the artist:

Dear Visitors and Fellow “Walkers”:
My regular walks in and around Pittsburg’s “Old Town” the past few years have been enjoyable and rewarding in so many ways.  And at times, surprising and even amazing.
My hope is that these few photos I’ve chosen to share,  taken along the various paths in and around “Old Town” show this, and encourage you to explore and experience the many treasures so near at hand and foot.
Our Past is rich. Our Present is growing, glowing and flowing into The Future.
We are privileged to live in a very special place on this Planet, situated between Mt. Diablo and The Sacramento/San Joaquin Rivers.
Your walks can be as long or as short as you have time and energy for. The Eighth Street path is worth doing.  It can be started right here on Railroad Ave. Or, for experiencing the full path, it starts on Harbor St., ending and merging into Herb White Way.
These are only a couple of recommendations.  The possibilities are endless and beautiful. Bring your camera, sketch pad or watercolors!
